Dubai Customs explores mutual trade with Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is Dubai’s biggest trade partner in the Gulf and in the Arab World, and the 4th internationally.

Dubai Customs Director-General and Saudi Consul-General in Dubai have discussed means of boosting cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Dubai especially in bilateral trade and customs business, according to local newswire, WAM.

Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, the Director-General of Dubai Customs, said that it is very important for Dubai to boost ties of partnership with Saudi Arabia and its diplomatic missions as well as business councils and corporates as the Kingdom is a very important trade partner to the Emirate.

Dubai non-oil external trade with Saudi Arabia in 2018 made AED 55 billion and in Q1 2019 it reached AED 13.2 billion.
