The RAK Department of Finance has partnered with RAKBANK and STS PayOne to launch RAK SmartPay as an integrated e-payment system in Ras Al Khaimah.
In a statement, the RAK Department of Finance said that the development will assist the finance department to adopt an innovative smart platform, which is based on electronic and smart techniques to manage public funds.
The implementation of the RAK SmartPay, which is based on STS PayOne's SmartGate, will help to unify RAK government’s revenue collection procedures instead of multiple payment systems that are burdensome to employees and customers.
HE Yousef Ali Mohammed, General Manager of the RAK Department of Finance, said that RAK SmartPay will serve as the main driver for advancing the financial performance of the RAK Government, keeping pace with the digital and smart transformation developments across different government services regionally and internationally.
The partnership also marks the realisation of RAK Government’s strategic goals and its Vision 2030.
