Standard Bank is now live on mobile teller solution in 107 branches in Lesotho, Zimbabwe as well as Malawi, Zambia and eSwatini.

South Africa-based Standard Bank (Stanbic) has adopted Infosys Finacle mobile teller solution to digitise its banking services across its branches in the Africa.
Infosys Finacle stated that the solution is currently in implementation in Ghana as well as Tanzania and will be further planned in a phased manner across Standard Bank’s African network branches.
Klaas Kruger, the Chief Information Officer, Standard Bank, Africa Regions, said, “The implementation of ‘Moby’, Finacle’s mobile teller solution as we call it, has been a significant step in our journey towards customer-centric digitisation and process optimization.”
The Finacle mobile teller solution comes with designated workflows for each role—teller, relationship manager and agent.
Additionally, the solution’s interactive user interface, intuitive navigation as well as an offline mode of operation and inbuilt analytics engine allows to provide personalised services on-the-go and virtually eliminate waiting in queues.
